It is MoveValet’s policy to allow You to choose what PII and other information You provide to us. You do not have to provide any information about Yourself to enjoy the Website, but if You so choose, You will be required to share certain information with MoveValet.
From time to time, MoveValet may ask customers to provide PII that will help us efficiently perform various transactions. That information may be sought as You: (1) register for general information; (2) sign up or subscribe to products and services; or (3) participate in a special offer or contest. MoveValet only collects PII about You when You specifically provide such information on a voluntary basis. MoveValet does not store Your credit card information, because MoveValet’s credit facility handles all credit card data and transactions. Also, as is always the case whenever You make a purchase, MoveValet, as well as any related providers, are entitled to know the information You give us. MoveValet has no control over the other providers’ use of that information. Your PII provided to us may be shared with MoveValet’s related providers and used in accordance with their standard policies.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, MoveValet reserves the right to contact You, utilizing Your PII, to inform You of information that might affect You. MoveValet may use Your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address to help diagnose problems with MoveValet’s computer server, and to administer MoveValet’s Website. Your IP address is used to help identify You, and to gather broad demographic data. Your IP address contains no PII about You.
MoveValet may analyze customer usage in order to measure interest in, and use of, the various parts of its Website, and MoveValet may share this information with prospective advertisers, and other interested third parties. But, this information is Aggregated Information only, and contains no PII whatsoever. Aggregated Information is addressed in more detail in Section 5 below.

1. What You Consent to by Using MoveValet’s Site
2. What Information MoveValet Collects
MoveValet gathers two types of information about users through the Site:
a. Information other than PII
When users come to MoveValet’s website, it may track, collect and aggregate information about You or Your usage of its Website which is not PII indicating, among other things, which pages of MoveValet’s website were visited, the order in which they were visited, when they were visited, and which hyperlinks were “clicked.”
Information that is not PII is data in a form that does not permit direct association with You. MoveValet and its business associates may collect, use, transfer, and disclose non-identifiable personal information for any purpose.
Non-identifiable personal information such as occupation, language, zip code, area code, unique device identifier, location, and the time zone where a device is being used may be collected so MoveValet and its business associates can better understand customer behavior and improve their products, services, and content. In addition, because MoveValet’s Valet Services are designed to assist you with relocation, we may collect any or all of the following types of information not considered to be PII: (1) items owned; (2) room sizes in Your current home; and (3) room sizes of Your future home.
If MoveValet and its business associates combine non-identifiable
personal information with PII, the combined information will be treated
as PII for as long as it remains combined.
MoveValet collect PII that You provide to us when You register for an account, update or change information for Your account, purchase products or services, complete a survey, sign up for email updates, participate in MoveValet’s public forums, send us email messages, or other services on MoveValet’s Site. We may use the PII that You provide to respond to Your questions, send You updates about services offered by MoveValet or MoveValet’s events, and send You email messages about Site maintenance or updates. Some examples of how You may provide MoveValet with PII are set forth below:
(i) Opt-In Account Registration
Registration is required in order to create an account on the Website. If You register for an account on MoveValet’s Site, You may be required to provide us with PII such as Your name and email address. You may provide as much or as little information as You want. The more information You provide, the more able MoveValet will be to provide services, offers and opportunities through the Website.
(ii) Third Party Credit Card Processing
MoveValet provides You with the ability to pay for services using a credit card through a third party payment processing service provider. Please note that MoveValet’s service provider – not MoveValet – collects and processes Your credit card information. (iii) Non-Traditional Types of PII Because MoveValet provides You with special services associated with relocating Your home, there will be information it collects that would be associated with traditional forms of PII, but not identical to those generally recognized forms. Where appropriate MoveValet will collect information about: (1) the exterior of Your current home; (2) the exterior of your future home; (3) information about the common building in which You reside; and (4) information about the common building in which You will reside. While this information is not an address, it could be used by third parties to ascertain your address. So, MoveValet will treat it as PII.
3. How and When Does MoveValet Collect PII?
In the course of registration or selling services or merchandise, MoveValet may collect and maintain certain PII to help us efficiently perform various transactions. The credit card processor may share the same information with Your credit card issuer for the issuer’s use in connection with gathering data related to use of their cards, rewards programs or other purposes. You are urged to read and become familiar with the privacy policies governing the use of Your credit cards. Also, when You make a purchase, MoveValet may be contractually required to pass Your PII to others so that they may communicate with You about Your purchase. Under those circumstances, MoveValet cannot offer You the option to opt-out from having Your information passed to on to others who help fulfill Your purchase request.
When You visit MoveValet’s Website, MoveValet may also gather certain information about the use of Your computer that MoveValet aggregates with similar information collected from other visitor’s computers, which MoveValet uses for statistical and other purposes (see “Aggregate Information” described in Section 6 below).
The information, including PII, MoveValet and its business associates collect allows MoveValet to keep You posted about your purchases, including their status, and Valet Services’ latest product announcements and upcoming events. If You do not want to receive offers and opportunities customized to Your preferences, You can opt out anytime by updating Your preferences and deleting the information You provided about Yourself.
MoveValet and its business associates also use PII to help develop, deliver, and improve their products, services and content.
MoveValet and its business associates may also use PII for internal purposes such as auditing, data analysis, and research to improve their products, services, and customer communications.

Typically, as You browse MoveValet’s Website, MoveValet’s computers automatically collect information related to how You use certain features of MoveValet’s Website, what general region MoveValet’s visitors are contacting us from and how many people visit MoveValet’s Website at any given time. MoveValet only uses this information in the aggregate, which means that MoveValet only derives meaning from the sum of all such information gathered for a period of time and accordingly, MoveValet refer to this information as “Aggregate Information”. Aggregate Information includes, but is not limited to Your computer’s: (1) Internet browser type; (2) IP address; (3) resolution settings; (4) platform type; and (5) originating URLs of referring web pages. MoveValet uses Aggregate Information to: (1) help diagnose problems with MoveValet’s computers; (2) administer MoveValet’s Website; (3) share certain generalized demographic information with Event Hosts and MoveValet’s advertising partners about visitors of MoveValet’s Website; and (4) provide MoveValet’s advertising partners with information regarding which visitors saw and clicked on certain advertisements on MoveValet’s Website.
